My painting is of my Grandparent’s house. The orange is to represent her garage and the blue is to represent her creek in her back yard. The big tan half circle is her house. I have so many amazing memories there about my family and from when I was a kid. My cousins and my sister use to play in the creek and during hunting season we put our deer in the garage to cut the meat up.
When I was painting my aberrational dot painting I was having trouble finding the right colors to repaint over the first coat, so I had to make a different color and paint over it again.
I am very proud of my painting though and how it turned out. I feel like I worked hard and I did my best to do everything right. If I had to do something different I would want to put more detail to the painting. For example trees or a swimming pool.
I picked to draw the horse, because I own horse. I thought they would be easy to draw, but it wasn't. I couldn't find out how to curve the body correctly to make it look realistic.
I had trouble making the ribs smooth. If you look closely at them you can tell that they aren't the correct size, they need to be bigger, and the have indents in them. another problem that I was having was making hooves for the feet. Two of the hooves look pretty decent, but none of them are close to being the same size.
I am pretty happy with the drawing, because I worked hard on it and I know I did my best! It might not look perfect or look realistic but it reminded me of good memories and some bad. But I kept trying and I finished with a good drawing.
